The hut was built in summer 2004 on the Ciampinoi alpine pasture at an altitude of 2100 meters. In spite of its modernity, it is made from wood and looks like a typical and traditional mountain cabin in which a comfortable rural-style restaurant creates a familiar atmosphere. The Ciampionoi alpine pasture is famous for its legendary world cup Saslong -track, which you can live to see from the spacious patio. The Sasloch hut also lies directly on the Sellaronda-track and is embedded in a unique panorama of valleys and mountains. The patio is always a wonderful place for either gourmets or sunbathing- lovers.

The Saslonch hut is very easy to reach from all neighbour villages of Val Gardena.
